Babes Wodumo in hot soup after calling out Lady Zamar to speak out against Sjava

‘How dare you?’, Tweeps have shamed Miss over her suggestion on Sjava and Lady Zamar rape scandal after she failed her own disastrous relationship with lover Mampintsha. Babes Wodumo got herself in hot water after calling out Lady Zamar to speak out against ex-lover, Sjava.

Lady Zamar opened up about Sjava months ago, on the abuse she experienced while in a relationship with him for 2 years.

A few weeks ago, she also opened a rape case against him which Sjava denied and further called her out, but Zamar is yet to respond.

However, Babes who’s suddenly supportive to the singer after mocking her facial acne some months ago, called the Collide hitmaker to speak up against her ex-lover.

The Gqom queen’s followers on Twitter dragged and shunned her for calling out Zamar to speak out as they made reference to her failure to speak out when a viral video of her lover, Mampintsha physically abused her in early 2019.

Watch Mass funeral held for 26 people who died in Eastern Cape bus crash

A mass funeral has started for the victims of a bus crash in Centane in the Eastern Cape last week.

On Friday a massive marquee was erected at Cebe JSS for 26 of the people who died in the accident.

While Eastern Cape police said 26 people were being buried, the transport ministry last week placed the death toll at 29. It was unclear whether the other three had been given private burials.

On Friday, the coffins of the 26 were lined up in the centre of the marquee. Some coffins had wreaths and pictures of the deceased placed on top of them.

Last week, following the tragedy, some of the families called for government to assist with the burials of their loved ones, saying they could not afford to conduct the services themselves.

The bus plunged down a steep ravine last Monday morning. It was carrying mostly pensioners and pupils.

Transport minister Fikile Mbalula said it was believed the bus driver had lost control of the vehicle.

ISIDINGO TO BE REPLACED WITH ISIDINGO!

ISIDINGO TO BE REPLACED WITH ISIDINGO!

The SABC is replacing Isidingo on SABC3 with … repeats of Isidingo in primetime.

After cancelling the 21-year old local weekday soapie, the SABC isn’t replacing it with something new just yet.

After the series finale of Isidingo on Thursday 12 March at 19:00, SABC3 will run Isidingo repeats for the next few months in the middle of primetime, selecting specific episodes from across the years to reshow.

Friday 13 March and Monday 16 March will be “birthday celebration” episodes, followed by various Isidingo themes starting from Tuesday 17 March.

According to insiders SABC3 is still searching for new content for the timeslot and will stay with the repeats until a “new SABC3 schedule kicks in” at some point in 2020.

The “Isidingo tribute” of repeat episodes will continue for at least two months on SABC3 through April and May, with various “themed” episodes that won’t tell any connected story besides being set in the fictitious “The Deep” community.

The SABC announced in November 2019 that it is ending Isidingo created by Gray Hofmeyr, originally produced by Endemol SA, later Endemol Shine Africa and then Pomegranate Media. The final episode was filmed on 24 January 2020.

The axe came down so quick and unexpected, which didn’t give the production time to plan and rewrite any broad or proper farewell episode. However, it managed to make slight changes to accommodate the final episode.

“We are working on a strategy going forward to ensure that SABC3 becomes a financial and ratings success,” Pat van Heerden, the new SABC3 channel head, tells Channel24.

“We are in the process of consolidating this strategy. In the short-term, we will be offering our viewers a chance to take a trip down memory lane and celebrate the best moments brought to us by the long-running program, Isidingo. We feel that the curating of the special moments over decades would be a fitting farewell to a long-running series that has done so well for SABC 3 in the past.”

Jessica Nkosi doesn’t want your opinion if you don’t follow her

Jessica Nkosi doesn’t want your opinion if you don’t follow her

It may be common practice on these Twitter streets for peeps to comment on everybody’s tweets, even if you don’t follow them, but Jessica Nkosi isn’t about that vibe.

The Isibaya actress is seemingly fed up with unsolicited opinions on her TL from people who don’t even fall under her 1.1 million strong following on Twitter.

On Thursday, Jessica took to her TL to let these non-followers know that she plans on going on a blocking spree.

Why? Because not only is it annoying for her but she doesn’t understand why they feel the need to comment on her tweets.

“It’s actually so annoying when a person who doesn’t even follow you comments on your posts, futhi acommente umsuzo nje! First of all you’re a creep and get off my page. I block creeps who don’t follow me but still magically comment on my tweets,” she wrote.

According to the actress – who plays the much-loved queen on the Mzansi Magic drama – if you don’t follow her, she doesn’t want to know your opinion.

“Well … they are not allowed to comment! I don’t want their opinion. If you don’t follow someone phuma nje kuye.”

Makgotso M: ‘It’s okay to admit if you’re not okay and ask for help’

Makgotso M: ‘It’s okay to admit if you’re not okay and ask for help'

With mental health issues being at the forefront of many discussions on social media, actress Makgotso Monyemokathoe has highlighted the importance of people being honest with themselves about their feelings and seeking help.

The actress shared her sentiments on the topic on her social media platforms after seeing a picture her cousin had shared on WhatsApp with the caption, “(A) sad generation with happy pictures.”

“I saw this picture on my cousin’s WhatsApp feed and I thought wow! How true is this though? My thoughts are, always be honest to yourself about what you’re going through and feeling.”

The actress expressed that self-introspection will help a person get that much-needed help, even if it leaves one feeling vulnerable.

“Yes, we can fool others but let’s not fool ourselves. Seek help if need be. We are told so many times to be strong, but what does that really mean? It’s important to feel, be numb, cry, scream if you have to.”

Makgotso continued: “Whatever you’re going through allow yourself to do just that, go through it. I’m not saying stay there. If you find yourself in a situation where you can’t come out, seek help where ever you can.

“Let’s not give up on ourselves, as tempting as it may be sometimes. May God bring restoration, healing and wholeness to you and your loved ones.”
