The developments follow accusations by Zodwa Wabantu that Vusi used her connections to buy an Audi vehicle from one Durban dealership. Zodwa alleges that Vusi purported to have been sent by Zodwa to buy a vehicle on her behalf and received a massive discount.

Zodwa posted a video today accusing Vusi of fraud and threatened to have him arrested. He even put a bounty on Vusi and she said she wants him alive.

“Vusi I don’t fear you. I have been quiet. I will call the police and anyone who has seen Vusi know that he is a fraudster. I have been thinking about your future.

I feel i do not need to do anything. I have proof and I have a case against you. Anyone who see Vusi tell me I need him alive.

“I gave him everything, my phone I gave you R20,000 phone. I gave you my money and you even went to Dubai. You stayed in my house and i was paying everything, from rent, food, electricity and bond.

You went to Audi and used my connections as if you represent me. You knew I wanted to use an Audi for Durban July. Give me what is mine. I’m coming for you,” Zodwa ranted.

She later shot another video crying saying she is only human. Her fans believe she was seeking attention but now it has landed her in trouble.

Boity Thulo And Maps Maponyane Engaged? #BoityEngagedByMaps

Forget Sunday Twitter, midnight Twitter is the littlest! This morning, we woke up to the news that Boity and Maps are engaged, the hashtag #BoityEngagedByMaps has been trending at number one all morning.

Boity Thulo And Maps Maponyane Engaged? #BoityEngagedByMaps

Black Twitter has a tendency of making the most unexpected hashtags or topics trend when everyone is fast asleep. Since Boity and Maps have not said anything about engagement, we’re assuming this is fake news. However, it would be awesome if the two were to finally admit that they’re a perfect match.

The two, who’ve become extremely close in recent months have sparked rumours that they’re seeing one another. Just before the national lockdown began, Boity was one of the people who helped organise Maps’ surprise 30th birthday party. This heartfelt gesture fuelled further rumours that the two could be an item, however, they’ve both dismissed the rumours, claiming that they are just really close friends.

Cape ANC MPL slams composition of new NYDA board, which includes NDZ’s daughter

Cape Town – An ANC MPL in the Western Cape has added his voice to a protest by opposition parties and youth organisations against the latest appointments to the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) board by Parliament.

Mesuli Kama has written an open letter urging President Cyril Ramaphosa to reject the list of seven board members, which included Thuthukile Zuma, daughter of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma and former president Jacob Zuma.

The other candidates, recommended by the sub-committee of the portfolio committee on women, youth and persons with disabilities and the select committee on health and social services, were John Sifiso Mtsweni, Karabo Mohale, Paballo Ponoane, Lukhona Afika Mnguni, Gerald Molaoli Sekake and Avela Mjajubana.

Kama, who is the ANC’s provincial spokesperson for community safety said: “As a loyal member of this organisation, I have opted to listen more to what are the cries of the people against their government. The people, particularly the young people are worried about the process followed in the appointment of the NYDA board.

“Only four provinces out of the nine are represented and as it relates to demographics; I draw your attention to race and gender the recommended list is in conflict not only with this prescription of the act, but against the messaging of all our arms of the state in responding to the stated feeling of segregation.”

The SA Youth Chamber of Commerce (SAYCC) said that it wanted a review of the process and demanded that it be nullified.

SAYCC president Thapelo Maleke said: “The organisation will launch an application in the Pretoria High Court to interdict the president from considering the names, which are an outcome of a blatantly flawed process.”

Luyolo Mphithi, DA parliamentary spokesperson for women, youth and persons with disabilities, said: “We are of the view that the majority of the candidates are politically compromised. “Brilliant and talented young people across the demographic and political spectrum are left out in the cold with little to no opportunities available to them.

“While the DA supported the inclusion of Lukhona Mnguni, we objected to the rest of the recommendations, as we do not believe that the board is inclusive and representative in terms of Section 4 of the NYDA Act, nor do we believe that the board will work independently and in the best interest of South Africa’s youth.”

Meanwhile, an online petition to Ramaphosa and Speaker Thandi Modise against the new NYDA board had gathered 133 signatures by Monday.

“Its not a big role. She will be there for a certain period. This is why I’m not in a position to disclose how long she will be staying with Isibaya.

“Its good for her to make a comeback as e know that acting is her first love.” the mole added.

Madisakwane has appeared on SABC1’s Generations and Gaz’lam

Lungisa Xhamela after clinching a SAMA award – “I am still in awe of this recognition “

He may not have won Idols SA when he entered a few years ago, but Lungisa Xhamela is certainly making his mark in music. The velvet-voiced singer recently proved persistence pays off when he won a South African Music Award (Sama) for his debut album, My Heart To Your Soul.

“When I heard I was nominated I was over the moon realising all the hard work has been recognised,” Lungisa tells us. “It was an amazing feeling.”

Even though he was delighted to be nominated at the biggest music award ceremony in Mzansi, Lungisa didn’t know he’d won the best album Sama until friends and family called to congratulate him.

Unlike previous years, the awards ceremony was streamed live due to the national lockdown. “I didn’t even watch the show as I was busy working on my upcoming single,” he tells us.

“When I got home that evening, around 10pm, the show had just ended. I received numerous calls and I fell to the floor and started crying uncontrollably,” he adds. “I was overwhelmed with a rush of emotion.”

A few days after his big win, he still pinches himself. “I am still in awe of this recognition by the Samas because I know how much hard work I put into my album. It feels so great to walk away with this award. It’s scary and humbling.”

Lungisa, who was born in Butterworth in the Eastern Cape, is a pastor’s kid who grew up in different parts of the country. His family moved around a lot as his father, a Seventh-day Adventist pastor, spread the word.

“When I won, I chuckled over a couple of arguments online debating where I’m from,” he jokes. “People were claiming me left, right and centre. It was quite amusing to witness.”

He’d always dreamt of a career in music, so three years ago he moved to Johannesburg where he entered Idols SA. Even though he was the first guy to be voted out of the top 10, he says the show opened many doors for him.

“Idols is watched by millions, so I used the momentum and hype to propel me forward. I started releasing songs and performing all over. I even had a successful country tour in 2016/17, that also included Botswana.”

In 2018 he released his debut single, iLove Letter, which was a hit with fans. Last year Lungisa, who is signed to Gallo Record Company, hit the studio to record My Heart To Your Soul.

His debut album, he says, is inspired by love. “All the experiences I have about love, I chose to write and sing about all the goodness it has given me.”

He may be R&B’s newest sensation, but he says there’s something for everyone in his album. “I went all out, exploring different sounds, switching it up from R&B to soul, from soul to house, from house to gospel. All in all, keeping the love theme throughout.”

Fans will be thrilled to know he will soon release Mina Nawe, a new single off his album. “I believe it will do really well as it is catchy, commercial and easy on the ear, which is perfect for radio.”

When he isn’t in the studio recording new music, you’ll find the 29-year-old worshipping at church. “It’s a huge part of my life,” Lungisa says. “So much so that I’ve become a leader in the praise and worship team at New Age Tabernacle Church. Worshipping has strengthened my voice to levels that other genres might not have.”

Winston said Bob first fell ill on Friday, and on Saturday was told by his doctor to go to the hospital. He spent Saturday and Sunday in hospital receiving treatment and was told he would be discharged on Monday morning.

However, things took a turn for the worse once Bob left the hospital and was on his way home.

“I got a call from his wife while they were still driving home to say that he had basically just stopped breathing. She said they had just left the hospital and so I told her to make a U-turn and take him back.

“We all rushed there, me and some other friends of his, and we sat with his wife and four-year-old child for two hours while they tried to resuscitate him. Eventually, around two in the afternoon, they confirmed that he had passed.”

Winston said Bob’s death was sudden and when he had spoken to his friend on Sunday night the star was in high spirits.

“He was very upbeat. The conversation we had was to check up on his progress. He confirmed that he was leaving on Monday and we continued to have a normal conversation about getting him Nandos after leaving the hospital. He wasn’t stressed. He was joking around.”

As someone who was one of his closest friends and shared many special moments with Bob, Winston said he was heartbroken by his friend’s death.

“I lost a brother, that’s all I know. I don’t know how anyone fills a gap like this. He meant so much to everyone, especially his family. It is a big gap that has been created, it is massive.”
