Caught on camera: Cassper Nyovest and Nadia Nakai argue

Cassper Nyovest is putting the final touches to his much-anticipated album ANM which is coming out on the 11th of September. The album has big names such as Zola 7, Busiswa, and Samthing Soweto that will feature on it and Nyovest is very excited about it.

Although things seem to be going smoothly recently Nyovest shared on Twitter that he and his signee Nadia Nakai do not always see eye to eye and they were pictured arguing with Nakia even throwing her hands in the air.

Nadia Nakia was the first one to post the pictures of herself and her boss having an intense conversation. The Amai rapper revealed on Twitter that she was the last one to be called for a feature as she wrote:

“We already fighting!!! I think that’s why I was called as the last feature on #AMN ! @jabukiing”

Cassper Nyovest went on to reply to Nadia’s tweet and explained what was going on and he jokingly said

“Hahaha Jabu is evil for these pictures!!! #AMN gone be lit doe!!! You know i always fight for a good cause!!! I gadda have you at your best lil sis!!! Aye but today was hard i won’t lie but we pulled though!!!”

Despite the two butting heads they still joked about it and it is clear that they is no beef between the two of them. Nadia is signed to Cassper Nyovest’s, Family Tree and she released her debut album, Nadia Naked, under the record label over a year ago.

Sjava joins Mzansi’s most-watched TV show Uzalo

Celebgossip.co.za has learnt that the Umama hitmaker started filming with the SABC1 soapie last week as hitman Jombigazi

Multi-award winning musician Sjava is bringing big trouble to Mzansi’s most-watched TV show Uzalo.

While Uzalo’s 10-million viewers have to wait until November 6 to see Sjava in action on the show, We landed the exclusive first pictures of him in character.

Sporting his signature beard, Sjava looks in control and fearless holding an AK-47 in the first scenes that he has shot as Jombigazi.

“I’m excited to be part of Uzalo and when they contacted me I felt like ‘why not?’,” Sjava said.

“Acting is something I’ve done before and always wished to do again but because of my busy music schedule it couldn’t happen.

“Now, since I’ve more time on my hands because of the Covid-19 pandemic, I’m very happy to do it.”

According to Uzalo executive producer Mmamitse Thibedi, the character is a former ally of the villainous Nkunzi (Masoja Msiza) and right-hand man to upcoming character Mageba.

“Jombigazi is a trigger-happy young man. He has worked with Mageba since he was a kid. He is loyal to Mageba and to no other,” Thibedi said

“He always wears a mean face and if you see him smile, know that you have done something wrong and he is about to kill you.

“He has many dead bodies to his name and is still counting. He loves maskandi music and gqom. He is a man of few words. He is never without his leather jacket, even on the hottest day.”

On the decision to cast Sjava for the role, Thibedi said: “He’s perfect because he’s a great performer and his musical persona is aligned with this character we created. He’s unapologetic about his culture and that kind of raw energy is exactly what the role requires.”

Sjava late last year made a cameo appearance on Mzansi Magic telenovela Isibaya as himself as part of the Shela storyline.

But before making a splash as a musician he made his showbiz debut using his real name Jabulani Hadebe on soccer TV drama Zone 14.

He played the recurring role of Zonke in the show for three seasons. He also portrayed the character Mandla Dlamini in mini-series uGugu no Andile in 2008.

“It’s always good to do something that feels new,” he said.

Kelly’s most OMG quotes on Life With Kelly Khumalo

Every time she opens her mouth, she says something amazing. Here are some of our favourite quotes from the first six episodes.

There have been so many big reactions to Life With Kelly Khumalo since the show hit Showmax on 6 August. For the most part, the feedback has been positive, with viewers loving the raw, unfiltered look at the real woman behind the controversies.

If we know one thing about Kelly, it’s that she’s not one to mince her words. She always speaks her truth, no matter what anyone else might think, or how difficult the truth might be for them to hear.

Here are just some of the most noteworthy quotes by Kelly in the first six episodes of Life With Kelly Khumalo.

What you see is what you get
In the first opening sequence, Kelly makes it clear from the get-go that although she may not be perfect, one thing she will always present to the public is her authentic self.

“The woman that you see in front of you is self-made. I can’t say that I have a point of reference as far as being a good woman is concerned – there is no template. But, what you see is what you get.”

A child’s curiosity
As a single mom, life has handed Kelly with many heavy blows. The heaviest of blows is when her daughter, Thingo, asks about her father’s whereabouts.

Kelly’s most OMG quotes on Life With Kelly Khumalo

“How do I even start the conversation? How do I even tell my daughter who her father is and what happened to him? Because this is such a heavy story for a five-year-old.”

Sibling rivalry
It’s no secret that in the past year, Kelly has had a very public spat with her sister and her sister’s husband. In Life With Kelly Khumalo, the musician addresses her issues with her sibling and brother-in-law a number of times.

We soon come to realise that Kelly has completely written off her sister as a sibling and simply now refers to her as “that other girl”.

“For the past couple of years, I’ve tried to preserve my relationship with that other girl. And having loved that other girl, I’ve now gotten to a point where I just don’t give a sh** about love, relationships and family. I am over it.”

No truce with Jub Jub
If there is one thing that frustrates Kelly, it’s the ailing relationship she has with her son’s father – Molemo Jub Jub Maarohanye. From what you’ll see, there are many underlying issues Kelly still has with Jub Jub and it does not look like the two will be addressing these issues anytime soon.

“I won’t go knocking at Molemo’s home. I refuse to be disrespected by Molemo. You know when I think about Molemo I literally just want to break glasses, demolish houses. He is one man who has hurt me to the core.”

Tough conversations with mom
The feud between Kelly and her sister places their mother, Ntombi Khumalo, in a very awkward position. Ntombi doesn’t want to choose sides and Ntombi’s decision not to get in between the feud is frustrating Kelly.

“Why won’t you stand for your issues as a mother? Reprimand someone when they are wrong. Even if she was going to reprimand me, I’d be ok with that.”

The next seven episodes of Life With Kelly Khumalo will be available on Showmax from 27 August 2020.

Rhythm City actress Itumeleng Bokaba’s Parenting Skills questioned After Tw#rking in Public

As conversations around women and their freedom are held all over SA this Women’s Month, the actress shined the spotlight on comments, often said in jest or sarcastically, that degrade women for doing certain things or acting in a certain way.” I was slut-shamed for twerking on set today, even though it was part of a scene we were shooting. Someone said: ‘Wow look at the mothers of today.’ Like really!” she shared on Instagram.

Though she didn’t name and shame, it’s clear sis didn’t appreciate the comment about the “kind” of mother she is based solely on her actions in the studio.”Now that I’m a mother I should stop enjoying and expressing my sexuality. Get a life,” she said.

The former Yo.TV star announced in 2019 that she was going to be a mom, posting a snap with the words “coming soon” written on it. She followed it up with an ultrasound photo.

Since giving birth to her daughter, Rorisang, Itu has been sharing how motherhood has affected her in terms of everything, from her maturity levels to her weight loss journey. Itu’s fans flooded her comment section with words of support, telling her never to let people that make such comments weigh her down.

Actor Zola Hashatsi also jumped in the comments section, telling Itu to privately send him the name of the person who made the comment so he can deal with the person.

More things you didn’t know about Zodwa Wabantu’s ex-Ben 10 Vusi Buthelezi

Vusi Buthelezi has been wildly trending on social media after controversial dancer Zodwa Wabantu revealed that she wants him arrested. Zodwa is claiming that she has opened a case of fraud against her former lover and has even offered a reward for information that can assist the authorities in finding Vusi.

Vusi and Zodwa’s shenanigans have become the talk of Mzansi, with many South African men appearing to be celebrating Vusi’s exploits, saying that he has shown true leadership. He is being applauded for dribbling circles around Zodwa, who has a reputation for targeting younger lovers.

However, many people have been left with many questions about Vusi. Many are wondering who Vusi is and what he does. Well, here are some things you probably don’t know about Vusi Buthelezi.

Vusi is a student at the Durban University of Technology who runs his own graphic design business.

Vusi met Zodwa when he nervously approached her and offered to brand her bus. He charged her R10 000 for the job. Narrating, their first meeting, Vusi told Drum magazine,

“I walked up to her at a steakhouse in Florida Road, Durban, and introduced myself. I had no intentions except doing business with her. I offered to brand her bus and she agreed. At that time there was no spark at all, we were simply doing business.”

Vusi asked Zodwa to be his girlfriend after the two had been seeing each other for 3 months on business matters. Narrating how this happened, Vusi said

More things you didn’t know about Zodwa Wabantu’s ex-Ben 10 Vusi Buthelezi

“She was happy and after that gave me more jobs. We started warming up to each other. We’d check up on each other on a regular basis and we started going out together…We were sitting in her car and I looked her deep in the eyes, she blushed and smiled. I then took her hand and told her I love her. Since then we’ve been inseparable – every day we are falling in love”

Vusi is 11 years younger than Zodwa. Despite the age difference, Vusi did not take kindly to being called a Ben 10, when he was still in a relationship with Zodwa. He also denied that he was a gold digger who was dating the socialite for her material benefits. In an interview, Vusi said,

“I know people are already judging me, calling me names. I’m not her Ben 10, I’m her boyfriend,” he says. “They also think I’m dating her for benefits and her celebrity status.

“But that is not the case – I’m dating Zodwa the person, not Zodwa the celebrity. She is the celebrity and I’m not, I have no ambitions of becoming one. And yes, she’s a bit older than me but it’s not the first time I’m dating an older woman. My ex-girlfriend was older than me. What is more important is that I can handle her.”

The fairytale relationship came to an end in May during a traumatic period when Zodwa’s house was also robbed. In an interview with Drum Magazine, the dancer claimed that Vusi had dumped her.

“Things were not working out, he left but I’ve learnt that you must allow people to leave. You accept things as they come and as they are and allow people to be themselves.”
