Maps Maponyane Opens A Second Burger Outlet
Maps Maponyane, has his eyes set on securing the bag and we stan! Just after announcing how his famous eatery Buns Out was hardest hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, Maps has launched a new establishment.
Buns Out celebrated a year yesterday since it started operating, and it is located in Linden, and yesterday it was the birth of the second one. Taking to social media to make the announcement, Maps posted a snap posing outside of the eatery with his mom, and said she had to avail herself to bless it as he was gearing up to officially open it.
The second buns is situated in Rosebank, and those who are close by the area, are very lucky as they will have an opportunity to indulge on some of the most yummiest burgers in the area.
In a tweet Maps wrote, “And just like that, a year later to the exact day, our second Buns Out baby is born! Of course my mom had to come by yesterday to give the thumbs up before we could make things official.@BunsoutL A gift to us and to you too! See you there”
It is no secret that Covid-19 has affected a lot of business and Maps recently opened up how it affected his famous eatery.
Responding to a fan who asked him on Twitter he said, “Horribly. It’s been devastating, but we have faith & hope it will get better. The reality is that we can’t carry on like this for too long for it too still make business sense, but we have a couple strategic ideas that will hopefully mitigate that. Thanks for asking”
The business had to shut its doors a few days before the nationwide lockdown as the country’s Covid-19 cases surge. However, the establishment open it’s doors again operating under strict lockdown regulations.
The establishment was recently ranked by Bloomberg in February, as one of the best burger restaurants in the world, talks about levels and delivering more.
Sharing the excitement news about his second establishment he reflected on how the pandemic affected his business
“At one point it didn’t feel like we’d make it through the pandemic, but I’m excited to share that our new & SECOND Buns Out location is in Rosebank (2 Bolton Road). We can’t wait to host you! Come through for great quality burgers! We’re open every day,” he wrote.
