TV and radio personality Pabi Moloi says her ‘disputed husband’ and baby daddy Ruan Adams, who’s claiming half of her estate is accusing her of abusing drugs. Sunday World reports that the Power FM radio personality Pabi Moloi revealed ‘her husband’ Ruan Adams is claiming she abused drugs in papers she filed in the Johannesburg High court earlier this year.

Moloi is challenging her baby daddy’s claims that they were married in a community of property and that he’s entitled to half of her multi-million-rand estate. The TV personality is also pleading with the court to declare she and Adams were never married and he’s not entitled to half of her assets.

According to the publication Moloi admits she had a sexual relationship with Adams and conceived a child from the relationship but they separated when he became abusive and accused her of abusing substances.

It is unclear what kind of substances Moloi is accused of abusing as she did not disclose the specific substances claimed by Adams.

The adds that her baby daddy abused her financially and failed to contribute to the expenses of their joint household when they were together. The popular TV presenter also reveals that Adams harassed, and embarrassed her privately and publicly. Adams was also extremely jealous, possessive of her, and questioned the paternity of their only child, according to Moloi

He also demanded R25 000 of his lobola back which he paid on 30 May 2016.

“The plaintiff acted in an emotional, unregulated manner throughout the relationship between the parties, displayed severe mood swings, and subjected the defendant to unprovoked aggressive and destructive outbursts.” It is believed Adams applied for a “decree of divorce” early this year after he broke up with his baby mama.

Her estate includes a house in Broadacres in Fourways, a house in Noordwyk, Midrand, a house in Elton Hill and Edenburg in Sandton, and two houses in Waverley.

The estate also includes a white Jeep Cherokee, grey Suzuki, household furniture, her shares, pension funds, investments, and savings. Adams is also demanding Moloi to pay him R8 500 “spousal maintenance” a month to continue to live the luxurious lifestyle he led during their marriage.

Adams’ lawyer, Lutendo Siphuma, of SL Attorneys, declined to comment at the time of publishing this article. It won’t be appropriate to comment on a matter that is sub-judice,” he said.
