Outsurance speaks on the Katlego Maboe saga

The Katlego Maboe saga continues. Well, Outsurance felt it had to state its position after tweeps called for its fall after they dropped the presenter from their roster.

Outsurance spokesperson Natasha Kawulesar spoke to IOL earlier this week to respond to the backlash they faced after they pulled Katlego Maboe’s ads from their site as a result of cheating and domestic abuse claims made by Katlego’s estranged wife Monique Muller.
Outsurance makes it clear that Katlego was not an employee but a paid actor who worked and got paid on a campaign by- campaign basis.

Katlego has also been paid for all his work and Outsurance owes him nothing.

“It is important to note that Katlego is not an Outsurance employee or a permanent contractor to Outsurance. He is a professional actor who is paid on a campaign by- campaign basis. Katlego has received his full compensation from Outsurance for all past as well as the current campaign in which he was featured. This includes performance as well as full usage fees for the entire campaign,”
While rumours are circulating that Nikita was Katlego’s work wife, Outsurance denies these claims.
