NYALLENG THIBEDI (ZEKHETHELO) TURNS INTO BUSINESSWOMAN AFTER LEAVING UZALO, INVENTS HER OWN LIPSTICK BRAND

Top actress Nyalleng Thibedi will soon be disappearing from the TV screens as she’s set to leave Uzalo. But she’s turned into a businesswoman – she recently invented her own lipstick brand.

Nyalleng, who plays Zekhethelo on the SABC1 soapie, said having her own beauty product is a dream come true.

“I’ve been longing for this since I was 23 years old. Saying achieving this goal is amazing is an understatement. I don’t know how to explain this feeling that I have. I’m overwhelmed,” said Nyalleng.

She named her lipstick, Princess Nyalleng.

She’s happy with the way women have received it.

“I didn’t expect to get so much love. People are supporting me and some even send texts saying my lipstick is treating them well. This is huge for me.”

Nyalleng said it took her many years of research and planning to come up with the lipstick.

“I wanted to have a quality product that represents who I am. It took me many years for this dream to come true. Running a business isn’t easy.

“It comes with sleepless nights and a lot of stress. But it’s worth it. Look at me now. I’m a businesswoman.

“And I’m taking one step at a time as I hope to invent another beauty product in future.

She took the good news to her Instagram page where she said shared how the idea came about: “I was 23 and had just graduated when I first came in contact with the minerals used to make cosmetics/make-up.

“I was so fascinated as I ran the minerals through my fingers I promised myself that someday I’d have my own make-up brand. Yes, it’s taken that long.

“I’m my own first customer and love love love the product. I can’t wait for you to rock it.”

Among people who congratulated her was her former Uzalo colleague, Dawn Thandeka King.
