Zamani celebrates his 24th birthday, and it wouldn’t be a sweet celebration without his big sis showing to him on social media. In a series of pictures shared by Nomzamo, the actress shows us just how close they are, and how supportive they are of each other.Zamani has become one of Mzansi’s most talented and loved young actors. We were first introduced to him in Mzansi Magic’s telenovela Isithembiso as Zamani. After the show got canned he landed a new role on Rhythm City as Pule. The actor took to his Instagram account to let his fans know just how much he enjoyed playing Pule after the show got cancelled.
“Today I part ways with Pule Ndlovu(shot my last scenes) I enjoyed every single second with him, in him I found nothing but growth and more range…To my entire @officialrhythmcity family, thank you,ngiyabonga kakhulu,ang’naw’ anele,” he said.He expressed his sadness over the news of the soapies’ cancellation. “I am sad and heartbroken about it. However, I will not carry it with me the whole way up until the end. So, I have decided that I am going to make the most of the last months I have on the show, performing even 10 times better than now. When I started, I didn’t know that this is where I will end up. I went from not knowing what acting was, to being an actor and ekugcineni ngigcine sengisebenza nabantu engikhule ngibukela Kubo [in the end I ended up working with people I grew up looking up to. Mbatha’s charming looks and acting skills have won the hearts of many people in the country and he continues to leave them mesmerised with his talent. He recently bagged a new role on eTV’s drama series Is’phindiselo.
According to a statement released by the channel, “Benjamin “Benny” Ngwenya (Zamani Mbatha) is a young man with a bright future and a perfect family. He is a promising soccer player that wishes to play for Orlando Pirates. Unfortunately, with the hardships of township survival, and an injury, he ends up in jail for a crime he did not commit.
