They have always served us the cutest onscreen father and daughter goals. Natasha Thahane and Shona Ferguson played Amogelang and Jerry Maake on Mzansi Magic telenovela, The Queen.

Shona‘s character, Jerry, was killed a few days ago, which means chances of seeing him back on the show are almost nil. Natasha Thahane who played his daughter on The Queen has joined the thousands of people saddened by Jerry’s death.

The actress and brand ambassador took to Twitter to share a breaking heart emoji, which shows how heartbroken she is. Will we get to see Amogelang back on the show for her father’s funeral? Now that’s one comeback that many are hoping for.

According to sources, the Jerry Maake character was killed was because it got too difficult for Ferguson to portray the character after the death of his father. One other thing is that, the character no longer fits into the narrative of the soapie.
