Although this year was a tough one, Mzansi celebs had reason to smile as many of them welcomed their bundles of joy.

1. Manaka Ranaka

The talented actress who’s known for her role as Lucy Diale on SABC1’s soapie, Generations: The Legacy, took to social media to share that she has welcomed her first boy child.

Manaka, who has two daughters, captioned the post and said: “Soooooo good to be finally here. Now, where should I put my bags?”

1. Pearl Modiadie

Radio and television presenter Pearl Modiadie gave birth in September.

She took to social media to share that she had longed to meet her child and it felt surreal.

“I’ve longed for you. To finally have you here feels incredibly surreal, a feeling only my soul can deeply comprehend,” she said.

“Welcome to the world my love, the purest of hearts. You’re perfect in every way.”

“Your father and I love you dearly. We’re actually obsessed with you, but I’ll use the word dearly so we don’t scare you away my love.”

1. Minnie Dlamini

After months of teasing us with her baby bump and three baby showers later, the 30-year-old star took to Instagram and welcomed her bundle of joy.

In her announcement post, she said: “Our king has arrived. Welcome, Netha Makhosini Jones.”

The talented sports presenter named her son after her brother Khosini Dlamini, who died late last year after a ruptured brain aneurysm.

The talented media personality gave birth to a healthy baby girl in September.

She took to social media and thanked God for the most perfect gift that she’s ever received.

“My heart is full. God showed off and I see Him daily in you. The most perfect gift I’ve ever received in my entire existence, minnie me,” she captioned the photo of her baby.

1. Busisiwe “Cici” Thwala

Songstress Busisiwe Thwala, popularly known as Cici, gave birth to a bouncing baby boy on 15 May.

The talented singer took to social media to announce the arrival of her baby boy, Dialo.

“My little Prince is finally here,” she said.

“Love you baby Dialo. My prayers have been answered. What more can I ask for. I couldn’t wait to meet him. God has been faithful. My baby.”
