The nation is still in disbelief following the untimely passing of actor and media mogul Shona Ferguson. He passed away on Friday Afternoon, 30th July 2021. Since the news of his passing broke, his fans and colleagues from across the continent have taken to social media to honour the legend.

Television producer, Thomas Gumede said that the death of a giant is felt by all and it’s evident from the tributes that are coming in that Shona touched everyone. “The death of a giant is felt by all, near and far. I pray your family one day finds peace with your departure. Thank you for being so inspirational, dedicated, hard-working! A real king of Jozi.”

Actress Sophie Ndaba and a friend of The Fergusons for over 20-years said that meeting Uncle Sho was an honour for her.

“Mr Sho yoh I’m at a loss for words my bro. I’m still in denial. Thank you for all your prayers and love. Always there for a sister from day 1, meeting you was an honour 19 years ago. You were Consistent, You had a big heart straight from heaven, I would knock just for prayer, and you would be there then and now. Rest easy my bro. You fought a good fight, You Taught a lot of men out there hard work pays and how to truly love in marriage, you made it all look easy.
