Music producer TNS admits to Assaulting his baby mama

DJ, producer and singer TNS, whose real name is Nkazimulo Ngema, has been exposed as an abuser.

The ‘Umona’ hitmaker, who is based in Durban, has a baby boy with his baby mama Nothando Mbatha who outed him for physically assaulting her this past weekend at their home, resulting in their break up.

When Nothando was contacted about the incident, she confirmed that it indeed happened however she would like to deal with the matter privately – this according to Sunday World.

“I don’t think that I should be talking about this [incident] because I recently spoke to him and I don’t want to take this any further with the media,” she said.

The publication also contacted the 220-year-old musician who admitted to physically assaulting the mother of his child and asked that the country helps him in fighting these “demons”.

TNS also said that what he had done haunts him every night and he is willing to face time for his actions.

“I think for me to do right by my soul I have to come out about this and get help if I need it, because this is haunting me all the time. I don’t sleep at night, I smoke a lot, I can’t think straight and I’m no longer myself,” said the musician.

The producer also claimed that this was the very first time that he has beaten up a woman and it broke his heart when he realised that he had broken the law. He added that it broke his heart even more because it was the woman he loves and the mother of his child, Phupholethu – which is also the name of his latest album.

“What I did is completely wrong because this is a woman I want to build my future with. We are already a family. It’s a sensitive matter and it’s not easy to admit, but I would appreciate help,” said the musician, adding that he is willing to do whatever it takes to right his wrongs as he believes that he is still young and has lots of learning to do about love and life in general.

On Sunday the country woke up to headlines about rapper AKA’s alleged abuse towards his late fiancée Anele ‘Nelli’ Tembe. In an article published by media24 a video and pictures showing AKA using his bare hands to break down a wooden door at their Bryanston Apartment in Gauteng to get into a room where Anele was hiding from him was leaked. The alleged incident is reported to have taken place on March 13, 2021.

Nelli’s friends also told the publication that they were aware of the manner in which the Supa Mega treated their late friend when he was high on drugs and they’ve had to collect her at night when he would abuse her.

Another musician who has also been alleged to be abusive is House DJ Black Coffee. The ‘Subconsciously’ hitmaker was taken to court by his estranged wife Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa over claims of physical abuse during and after their marriage. The actress, who on Friday released a video in an emotional state, told the country that she was going to expose her ex husband because she had had enough. The video came after the court ruled in favour of Black Coffee, denying Enhle a protection order and dismissing her case.
