Music producer FISTAZ offers 20K reward for info on stolen equipment
DJ AND producer Fistaz Mixwell needs Mzansi to help him after equipment worth R250 000 was stolen from his restobar, Matte Black.
The restobar, which is a combination of a restaurant and bar, is also offering a R20 000 reward to anyone who can help them find the thieves who stole the equipment.
The establishment posted a video of the robbers driving into the Nicolway Bryanston Mall in Sandton, Joburg, where the restobar is situated.

“A R20 000 reward is offered to anyone who can identify these individuals who broke into Matte Black in the early hours of the morning and stole our DJ equipment. They were driving a white BMW 3 serieswith one other accomplice,” they wrote on social media.
Fistaz shared with Daily Sun what happened.
“They stole DJ equipment and controllers that we use for our LED screens at the venue.
“The robbery took place in the morning of 11 April.
“The mall opens around 5am and 6am for employees and that’s when they came in.
“They broke into the restobar and took the equipment.
He said there has been no progress with the case.
“We opened a case with the police.
“But we are also offering R20 000 because there’s no progress with the case so far.
“People whowho have any information or can identify the people in the videos can contact us,” he said.
Colonel Dimakatso Sello, confirmed that a case was opened.
“N, however, they weren’t aware that a reward was offered. “That is a business burglary case and no suspect (s) have been arrested,” she said. Police are not aware of the reward. Investigation continue,” she said.
