Mzansi musician King Monada has stunned Mzansi after he shared photos of the house warming party for his multimillion-rand mansion in Limpopo.

The Malwedhe hitmaker who is well-known for putting Limpopo’s music on the map and flaunting his fancy cars on social media held a house warming party on Saturday. The party came after King Monada finally finished building the huge six-bedroomed and double story house for his family.

The mansion is located in Mokgolobotho, Tzaneen, Limpopo. Some reports suggest that the house cost between R1.5 million and R3 million.

The house was initially expected to be completed in April 2020. However, construction was delayed due to the lockdown after the Covid-19 regulations adversely affected the Malwedhe hitmaker.

On Saturday, King Monada was beaming with pride and joy as he held the official house warming party for his beautiful house. The event was graced by a number of South African celebrities who congratulated the musician on his achievement.

Back in 2020, King Monada explained why he had chosen to build a multimillion-rand in the village saying,

“People might judge me for building such a huge house in a village that is still developing, but this is my children’s home.

“This is where we all feel at home as a family.”

“I decided to build this house because an artist’s lifespan is never guaranteed, so I needed to make sure that if anything happens to me or my career, my two wives and children would not suffer. Having all the fancy cars is great, it is beautiful. But that’s just it. You cannot invest in a car, but a house is surely an investment, this house is big enough and does not need any extensions even in future,” he said.
