Mome Mahlangu to Release a Book

Vuzu Reality TV Star and stylist Mome Mahlangu has written a series of books with one titled, Black Love and Journey To Wellness. She joins a pool of fellow media personalities such as Basetsana Khumalo, Bonang Matheba, Zoleka Mandela, and more who have shared their own stories through autobiographies, memoirs, and some such as Lorna Maseko, Somizi Mhlongo, and Siba Mtongana their passions through cooking books.

The TV personality and businesswoman say that she intends for the series of books to break generational curses of in-law abuse and that they become a bible to black women, girls, and their children. It will tap into everything that happens in Black communities from families, love, and money, to business.
Get it [the book] for your mom to heal from her in-laws, get it for your daughter before she gets married, get it for your single sister before she gets married because this is a generational curse. We were chosen to go on the journey, to learn and relearn.” Mome added.
The mother of 3 and wife of comedian Tol Ass Mo also shared that it was her husband that inspired her to embark on this book-writing journey. The pair and parents of three have been together for 10 years now and their love keeps going strong by the looks and sounds of things.

Mome shared her gratitude to her husband in a lengthy Instagram post caption and revisited her experience as a daughter-in-law to her husband, Mongezi Ngcondolwane’s family, which wasn’t always good.

In her post, Mome revealed the pain she went through suffering among other things miscarriages and mental and emotional trauma that she has since recovered from.Mome Mahlangu to Release a Book“Your love for me is warming daily even through challenges we soldier on cause only we know our journey spiritually and emotionally with all challenges. This journey changed my life for the better to be with my soul mate and for the worse to go through in-law abuse to be diagnosed with what could have been a chronic disease but I knelt down more than I cried and I thank you @tolassmothegamer for being my every source of strength through the stomps, losses (miscarriages, emotional and mental trauma of being cursed to fail at this marriage by in-laws
