Minnie Dlamini’s close Friends Reveal Difficulty of Keeping her Pregnancy a Secret

Unathi Nkayi and Azola Mona have revealed that they were in the know about Minnie Dlamini-Jones’ pregnancy from the go with their latest posts on the matter.

Minnie Dlamini-Jones pleasantly surprised the world when she announced the she and her husband, Quinton Jones, are expecting their first child together after three-years of marriage. Mzansi reacted with surprise to the news as Minnie had ensured that she kept her baby bump concealed for as long as possible. Many went from wearing body-hugging outfits to ruffles and oversized tops to camouflage her baby bump.

But as the story of her pregnancy was made public, Minnie’s closest friends took to their own social media pages to reveal the difficulty of keeping the pregnancy secret. First was best friend and popular influencer, Azola “A Brooklyn Winter” Mona, who took to Instagram to share her feelings about her soon-to-be-aunty role.

“Aunty Brooky” started with the scripture writing, “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven” Ecclesiastes 3:1. She ended the caption with a tear inducing parting shot writing, “I look forward to walking with you in this new season of your life S’thandwa sam’. Congratulations. I love you so much.”

Azola spoilt her followers with other images of Minnie and her baby bump via her Instagram stories. Another detail that she revealed through her Instagram story was that during their Minnie’s 30th birthday celebration this past July, Minnie and the entire Jones clan was aware of her pregnancy.

Next to reveal her feelings about the pregnancy was media veteran and celebrated musician, Unathi Nkayi. The two personalities always champion each other on social media. Moreover, the two have been at each other’s recent milestones like Minnie’s launch of her skincare range, and on Unathi’s first day at Kaya FM, Minnie showed up with flowers to congratulate her on her return to radio.

So it should come as no surprise that Unathi was in the know. But in Unathi fashion, she shared a touching post with a humorous anecdote on how hard it was to keep the secret and jokes she would direct at Minnie over her growing baby bump.
