This indicates the extent of humanity African children have, that some things they’re doing sometimes they know they are unethical, but they still do them behind parents’ back.
Mihlali Ndamase stated how tired she is of hiding her tattoos from her grandmother, suggesting that it’d be time to reveal them to her.
Mihlali Ndamase created a thread on Thursday, 28 May 2020, detailing how her grandmother doesn’t know that she has tattoos because she has been hiding them from her. Her tweet suggested that her grandmother was very conservative, Mihlali stated, “Surely, my gran won’t be mad for long if she sees them…”
After considering what would are a clearly brave decision, she retracted her sentiments by admitting that she remains too scared to point out her grandmother her tattoos. Her fear was mirrored by her followers on Twitter, with one person revealing that they spent over 18 months hiding their tattoo from their mother. The follower explained that only she had plucked up the courage to face the results did she reveal the reality .
