Micasa Lead Singer J’Something Is Lovestruck
It’s no secret that singer/songwriter J’Something is crazy about his wife Cordelia Fonseca. Taking to social media to gush over her, J also shared some of the valuable lessons he’s learnt about this beautiful thing we call love.
“This lady right here @cocodafonseca … this mighty fine young lady right here makes me super duper happy. I have learnt a lot from our journey together. I remember reading a description of love in the Bible one day and thinking, dam I want that. Not only do I wanna receive that, but I wanna GIVE that.” Shared the singer.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.”
He went on to add that we sometimes judge ourselves too harshly when it comes to love and that the most important thing is the INTENT.
“A lot of us have heard of this piece of literature before. I often think of it and what I have come to realize is that the pursuit of the above is the essence of this life, to try and BE LOVE. What I also do realize and this for me has been key, is that we CONSTANTLY fall short of the above too. Now, this is why? Well because it is when you realize this that you stop judging your love or the love received or the lack thereof with such harsh terms and understand that as long as the INTENT is there then it’s still worth entertaining it. Nowadays, especially in relationships, we give up too easily. I don’t think we will ever achieve love in its entirety in this lifetime … but the pursuit is the real high,” posted the star.
The Micasa singer is never short of compliments for his beautiful wife. Back in May, he shared another sweet message which read in part, “Nothing better … when we’re together, and it just feels right, man I love kicking WITH YOU BABY!”
