Messages of Condolences Pour In For Lerato Zah As She Mourns The Death of Her Mother Veteran Actress Candy Moloi
On yet another sad note, South Africa has lost one of it’s veteran actresses. The nation is mourning the death of Candy Moloi who passed away on Tuesday after a long battle with cancer.
Moloi made a name for herself on her starring role as Vho-Makhadzi on the SABC2 soap opera Muvhango. She also had starring roles on Thola, Death of a Queen and a recurring role on Giyani. Among her accolades include winning the 2009 SAFTA for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Soap for her popular role Vho-Makhadzi on Muvhango.
Her daughter Lerato Zah Moloi, is also a well known actress of note. When news broke out that Candy has passed away, many could only think of Lerato. The Rhythm City actress was battling Covid-19 over the last couple of weeks, and now she is being dealt with yet another heavy blow.
As tributes poured in for Candy, Lerato and the entire Moloi family were also in many people’s thoughts.
