Lynn Forbes, the mom of late rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA, showed love to Nadia Nakai via an Instagram Story on Sunday 19 February. AKA was shot dead outside of Wish restaurant on Florida Road, Durban on 10 February, along with his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane. Rapper Nadia Nakai took to Instagram to break her silence on the untimely death of her boyfriend, rapper AKA on Sunday 19 February. This was just a day after the rapper was laid to rest on Saturday 18 February.

“My Heart is shattered, this is not what our future was meant to look like. I can’t believe I said my final goodbye to you yesterday. I’ll never see you again for the rest of my lifetime? You loved me loud and proud, thank you baby. Protected me, Prayed for me, inspired me. I find it hard to breath let alone find the words to explain how much I love you,” she wrote.

“I’m really going to miss all the special moments we’ve had. This really hurts! I can’t come to terms with the fact that I’ll never hear you say you love me, I’ll never hear your laugh. We had plans. There is no pain bigger than the pain of losing you. I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with you, I realise you’re the one who spent the rest of your life with me. I don’t know why things happen the way they do, but I’m questioning God right now,” she continued.

“Why would he bring us together to only take you away. I just don’t understand. I don’t know how I’m going to do this, going on with my life without you, I just can’t. Rest in peace Kiernan, I love you,” she added.
AKA’s mom Lynn has remained mum on social media following her son’s untimely death. However, she took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday 19 February to repost Nadia’s tribute with a heartbroken emojis. Take a look…

This comes after Lynn showed both Nadia and DJ Zinhle — the mother of AKA’s daughter Kairo more love during the rapper’s memorial service. The memorial service was held at the Sandton Convention Centre on Friday 17 February.

“I want to celebrate Zinhle and Nadia. This is not a normal situation, it’s all love over here. I’ve gained three daughters, Britney, Nadia and Zinhle,” she said. Lynn assured them that they are both her daughters and they are always welcome despite the rapper no longer being around. She also slammed social media users for trolling Zinhle and Nadia.

“Forever, both of you, you are always welcome. You will always be my daughters. I don’t care what anyone says on social media about you, they don’t matter. The Megacy matters,” she continued
