The SA entertainment industry is much closer than you’d think. It’s more like a family business.

These local celebrities are related, some of them are close cousins and grew up together and others are twins.

Some, however, are truly mind-blowing to learn, like comedian Trevor Gumbi and one-half of the Kings of the Weekend, DJ Sphectacula. The two are brothers and Gumbi is the oldest.

Many know Carpo as Cassper’s best friend, but he’s more than that, he’s the rapper’s cousin and childhood friend. The two grew up together in Mafikeng, Carpo offered Refiloe a place to stay when he was homeless and trying to get on his feet.
