Liesl Laurie covers Women’s Health magazine

Former Miss SA and presenter, Liesl Laurie covers the Women’s Health magazine for March issue.

The cover star served great smile on the mag and body goals.

“After about 3 years out of gym, I was going through a really tough time in my personal life and my psychologist suggested painting or drawing as an outlet… I thought this is not it! Def not for me hahaha. She later suggested getting back on track with taking care of my body and after having always longing for a stronger, healthier body, I was ready for action,” Liesl revealed.

A COVER STAR ? Have you got your March @womenshealthmagsa copy yet? ??❤️ This is a true celebration of hard work and rediscovery. After about 3 years out of gym, I was going through a really tough time in my personal life and my psychologist suggested painting or drawing as an outlet… I thought this is not it! Def not for me hahaha. She later suggested getting back on track with taking care of my body and after having always longing for a stronger, healthier body, I was ready for action. Once I met @ironimagebymerryl (thanks @rozmckinsta ❤️) believe it or not I fell in love with weight training. I mean have to seen those arms and quads?! Now listen, I am by no means a Fitness Model or anything of the sort but I just chose to take care of my body and subsequently my mind. Staying fit is about my happiness not about being a specific size or getting a specific shape. I am running my own race at my own pace and getting recognition for doing this has been such a highlight in 2020 (and it’s only Feb)??‍♀️??❤️ ••••••• A big shout out once again to my incredible family @danweakley @womenshealthmagsa for this amazing opportunity. Thank you for telling my story @reederwriter ❤️
