Lerato Kganyago confirms her marriage: 'I am a married woman'

After weeks of speculation and the rumour mill going wild, TV and radio personality Lerato Kganyago, popularly known by the stage name LKG, has finally confirmed she’s indeed off the market.

During Tuesday’s episode of #AskAMan on her show, The Bridge, on Metro FM, the DJ revealed she had gotten hitched. Speaking to Dineo Ranaka, Naked DJ and Somizi, she excitedly announced her new marital status.

“I am a woman, I’m a married woman that is,” she said, much to the excitement of her co-hosts, who revealed how happy they were that she finally revealed it.

“Oh my gosh! She finally said it,” Dineo excitedly exclaimed as Somizi and Naked DJ applauded in the background.

They then urged the DJ to say it again and she hesitantly complied.

“I am a married woman . . . All I wanna say is that this was an exclusive to The Bridge. I am a married woman,” she repeated.

Although Lerato did not go into detail about her marriage, Sunday World reported that she got married to a Gauteng tycoon named Thami Ndlela in a traditional wedding recently held in Boksburg.

Speaking to the publication, a source close to the couple revealed the pair would have their white wedding at the end of the year. “There is a big wedding being planned towards the end of the year and as family we are very happy for them and we can’t wait for this big day to arrive,” the source said.

Another source revealed that Lerato’s handing-over ceremony would be taking place in Soweto this weekend. “We are officially handing her over to the Ndlelas this weekend in Soweto. Come and see for yourself. We are so excited,” they told the publication.

The couple have not posted any pictures from their wedding yet.

Congratulations to them!
