Lady Zamar vows to go makeup-free during lockdown

The ravaging coronavirus (COVID-19) has not only impacted people’s economic lives, health, social networks, it has also affected their lifestyles too, many are forced to forego certain things they previously thought may not be done away with.

The pandemic has left citizens under ‘house arrest’ as they could not go out, at least for the whole duration of the lockdown, while some are mourning being deprived of their day to day lives, others have just accepted fate and adapted to the situation.

Renowned musician, Lady Zamar, has just surrendered to fate, she is not going to force matters, but will embrace the new lifestyle, she has decided to remain natural for the next few weeks and she won’t put on makeup. She has vowed to go makeup-free for the remainder of the lockdown period.

She recently posted a picture of herself in her ‘natural state’ online, she looked extremely marvelous and a fan could not help it than to comment: “You are so beautiful even without makeup.” The prominent songstress replied saying: “My new look for 21 days except when I play around with makeup to entertain myself.”

Lady Zamar implored fellow citizens to grab this ‘house arrest’ opportunity that has been presented by the lockdown for self-love and reflection, saying this is the perfect time to take control of the situation by practising self-care.

Apparently, self-care is also one of the preventive measures being advised by medical practitioners.

“Take care of you and your family, be safe and let’s keep South Africa safe. Practice good hygiene and let’s pray for each other. Love always wins. 21 days… We’re stronger together, we’ll make it together. Wash your hands, drink water and sanitise,” she said.

She urged fellow citizens not to be egocentric, but to always put other people’s welfare while taking good care of oneself. Lady Zamar strongly believes in the notion ‘united we stand, divided we fall.’

“21 days.. We’re stronger together, we’ll make it together Wash your hands, drink water and SANITIZE,” she advised.

Lady Zamar has not made her battle with acne a secret and she opened up on the challenges of dealing with it in the public eye where cyberbullies are rife. Meanwhile, she is happy to let her skin breathe for the next few weeks.

The songstress is always proud of herself, she is one person who takes her health and wellbeing seriously. She is strong, soft spoken and has never feared to speak her mind and cannot entertain being bullied.

On one occasion, the local songstress took a swipe at a troll who alleged that she was now losing some steam in the entertainment industry and has since been replaced by a new kid on the block, Sha Sha

Lady Zamar has openly spoken out about her battle with acne and the difficulty of dealing with it in the public eye where cyberbullies are rife.

So, she’s excited to let her skin breathe for the next few weeks – and we think this is a trend we should all try!
