The debut season of Mzansi’s hit reality show, KwaMamkhize, was a hit amongst viewers, making Durban-based entrepreneur Shauwn Mkhize and her family household names in Mzansi.

KwaMamkhize is centered around Shawn’s private life featuring her family and viewers got to see Mkhize’s lavish lifestyle, their big mansion and all their travel experiences

The reality show made it’s debut on TV screens in January and topped the Twitter trends list on the first day of its debut.

Taking to Instagram, MamKhize shared with her followers that her reality show has set a new record of 1.7 million views and is leading not only on reality shows but including dramas.

“Even after the show is no longer playing I don’t know how can I express my gratitude to all of you for the love and the support that you have given me I am speechless from the bottom of my heart,” shared Mkhize.

Fans are already calling for a second season of the reality show, as they loved watching the fabulous lives of Andile, Sbahle, and Shawn.

According to The Broadcast Research Council of South Africa in January KwaMamkhize had 459 940 viewers and in February had 475 988 viewers.
