South Africa songstress and sister to Kelly Khumalo, Zandie has raised eyebrows again after taking to her Instagram account to gush over advocate Zandile Mshololo.

In a post that has left tongues wagging, Zandie shared a picture of Mshololo dressed in a traditional garment.

She basically complimented her look saying she looked beautiful like she was singing her song Ikwela.

“EzakwaZulu,Oh Lord my bizo is so beautiful sengathi ucula iKhwela la,” she captioned the post. Zandie decided to switch off her comments, but her post had raised questions on whether she is throwing shade at Mshololo.

Last week the defense lawyer in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial said she needed more time to read the second docket that recently emerged in court. According to the second docket Kelly Khumalo, Zandile Khumalo, Longwe Twala, Gladness Khumalo, Tumelo Madlala, Mthokozisi Thwala and Maggy Phiri were the suspects in the case and they were also accused of defeating the ends of justice.

“The state must give us reasons for the decision that has been taken, whether it’s been a misjoinder or maybe we are supposed to be having 10 accused here, the other accused should have been joined here or they should not be joined — we don’t know…As a result, I am asking that this matter be adjourned and the remaining period of this session,” said Mshololo.

The court heard yesterday that the second docket had no merit, so the National Prosecuting Authority dismissed it. “My Lord I’ve just received a second letter correcting the previous one to say that the decision was taken under or per Vosloorus case 375/1/2019 …the content is still the same.

“To say the DPP Gauteng is distancing, he’s saying he didn’t make a decision otherwise regarding this docket, the second docket, my Lord…and the DPP south Gauteng the alleged documents don’t have any statement and such was an internal opinion from a junior state advocate and which was without merit.” said Mshololo.

Hence, social media users think Zandie is throwing shade at her based on the outcome of the second docket being dismissed. Zandie recently fuelled rumors that she was the eyewitness who is meant to testify in court that Kelly Khumalo allegedly pulled the trigger on Meyiwa. This is according to defense lawyer Malesela Teffo .

Zandie then quoted lyrics to her new song Ikhwela. The Zulu song translates to, “I have traveled a long journey. I’m no longer going back. I’m even hated by a lot of people.”

“The time has come for me to blow a whistle, what do you say ??? There’s no day that will never come.”

Fans thought it was her who was going to testify against hr sister, but she took to social media to show love to her sister. “Till the wheels fall off mntakama (my sister).” She then added another lyric from her song, which says, “Uma ungidinga nje wena dali wongishayela iKhwela” translating to, “if you need me love, blow a whistle.”

“Let us forget about gossip people, my new song is out and it is hot! Even if I have to say so myself check it out on all digital platforms,” she wrote.
