Kelly Khumalo slammed over her ‘poor motherly skills’

elegance7.com reported about musician Kelly Khumalo and her ex-boyfriend Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye trending on Twitter for most of the day. This is because their son, Christian Khumalo, allegedly got expelled from school after he carried marijuana in his school bag.

Many social media users – including controversial YouTuber Slik Talk – have shared their thoughts on the matter.

South African content creator Slik Talk has come out with another controversial video – this time it was directed at 37-year-old singer Kelly Khumalo.

This after entertainment and gossip blogger Musa Khawula alleged that 12-year-old her son Christian was expelled from school after stealing marijuana from her rumoured boyfriend Mthokozisi Yende, and taking it with him into the school property.

According to Slik Talk, Christian’s troubles come as a result of his mother’s poor parenting skills. Taking to YouTube on 9 May this year, Slik Talk shared some harsh words with Kelly who has basically been raising the child without the help of his father, TV personality Jub Jub.

“Kelly Khumalo has to be one of the most toxic individuals in South Africa. She is a cancer, everywhere she goes she destroys. She is a toxic person at best. First, she was married to some businessman who died then she got with Jub Jub who went to jail then she was with Senzo who was shot. It’s like a bad cloud follows this chick,” he says.

He then goes on to question her motherly skill for allowing her son to steal weed. He also adds that she causes trouble for everyone around her.

“What kind of mother are you? How is your kid so young already getting expelled after stealing from your lover? Why does your lover smoke weed at his age,” he says.

Here are some of the reactions:

@mahlodi_joy said: “But what does Kelly’s past relationships have to do with her child??? Kids misbehave all the time as part of growing up and it has nothing to do with a mother’s parenting skills, please.”

@khani_hlahla said: “Why is he acting all perfect, almost all of us had our flaws growing up, some did worse.. he is just a kid, he will learn from this.”
