Joburg mayor, Mpho Phalatse files urgent application to halt council sitting

City of Johannesburg mayor, Mpho Phalatse, has filed urgent papers to block an extraordinary Johannesburg Council sitting.

It is expected a motion of no-confidence in the mayor will be tabled.

She also wants a sitting that elected new Speaker Colleen Makhubele declared invalid.
