Is everything OK between Natasha Thahane and Thembinkosi Lorch?

South African actress, Natasha Thahane and Lorch have been making news for several years now. From blatantly denying that they were dating, to going public with their relationship, reportedly breaking up, welcoming their first child, and here we are now.

Both Natasha Thahane and Thembinkosi Lorch are accomplished stars in their respective fields. While Natasha Thahane is a talented actress who currently stars in one of the most watched series in South Africa- Blood and Water, a model and a brand ambassador, Thembinkosi Lorch is a footballer who plays for Orlando Pirates and the national team- Bafana Bafana.

Here is a look at the timeline of Natasha Thahane and Lorch’s relationship, their individual relationship histories, and what’s going on between them right now.

Natasha Thahane and Lorch’s relationship
In June 2021, rumours that Natasha Thahane and the Orlando Pirates forward- Lorch were dating emerged after Twitter police found out that the two were vacationing together in Tanzania.

The thorough investigation began after Natasha posted a picture of herself in a sexy bikini at the beach on Instagram. Tweeps zoomed in on her sunglasses to find out the identity of the photographer and revealed that it was none other than Lorch.

If the reflection on the sunglasses was not enough, tweeps also realized that both Lorch and Natasha Thahane were wearing matching wristbands.

Shortly after that, tweeps revisited both Natasha Thahane and Lorch’s old individual Instagram photos and made the late revelation that a lot of the photos had the same background.

Despite all the strong evidence, Natasha Thahane and Lorch denied being in a relationship. When asked if he was dating the Blood and Water star by his friend DJ

Maphorisa during a live Instagram video, Lorch denied even knowing who Natasha Thahane was.

The pair later confirmed their relationship when Lorch posted a photo of Natasha Thahane on Instagram with the caption “Beke la Beke” accompanied by a heart emoji and a couple of days later, Natasha wished her footballer bae a happy birthday on Instagram.

Did Lorch and Natasha Thahane break up?
A couple of months after Natasha Thahane and Lorch went public with their relationship, speculations emerged that the two had broken up.

Apparently, the lovebirds had unfollowed each other and deleted each other’s photos on Instagram, and as usual, it didn’t go unnoticed by the diligent Twitter police who concluded that the two had parted ways.

Although Twitter went wild with reactions about the breakup with memes about the couple’s breakup making rounds, it later emerged that the two were still together.

Natasha Thahane and Lorch’s baby

In March 2022, Natasha Thahane revealed that she was expecting after sharing beautiful photos of a photo shoot that showed off her baby bump.

She later had a glamorous baby shower in mid-April and it is believed that she welcomed her bundle of joy in late April or early May 2022.

The gender and name of their baby have not been revealed yet and we are also to see the little bundle of joy’s face yet.

It is also unclear if Natasha Thahane and Lorch are currently still together and although some sources believe that they are no longer a couple, both Natasha and Lorch have not confirmed breaking up.

Natasha Thahane’s dating history

Before being involved with Lorch, Natasha dated other men including Bohlale Makgolane. Her relationship with Bohlale Makgolane was very public and the two often gushed over each other on social media. Unfortunately, the relationship did not last long.

At one point, Natasha was also rumoured to be in a relationship with rapper A-Reece after she appeared in a video with him.

In 2017, she was rumoured to be in a relationship with an American guy. This relationship too didn’t work out, unfortunately.

Lorch’s dating history

Before dating Archbishop Tutu’s granddaughter, Lorch was in other relationships with other women.

His most prominent relationship was with Nokuphiwa Mathithibala. Their relationship caught the public’s attention as it was concluding on 7th September 2020 when Nokuphiwa opened a case against Lorch with claims that he had physically abused her.

Nokuphiwa Mathithibala is reportedly currently dating Mamelodi Sundowns’ defender- Andile Jali.
