Invited Guests Open Up About Buhle Samuels’ Wedding

Being a private person but also a public figure can be a challenging task. No matter how hard you try to keep your personal life private, it just never happens. Actress Buhle Samuels would attest to this as her “private” wedding made her trend, with pictures getting leaked online.

Guests who attended the wedding told City Press that security was actually tight and they were there to ensure no guests used their phones to take pictures.

Buhle married Thando Sonqishe last week Monday and the people who were invited told the publication that there bouncers everywhere. Another thing guests shared was that the alcohol there was very expensive and that each table had about three bottles of Veuve Clicquot.

Describing how private the vent was, one gust said to City Press, “We were barred from taking pictures. The only person who probably posted is the event planner … It was a very private affair, only close friends. Armed guards were trailing behind the groom. The place had bouncers who made sure that we did not take pictures.”

The event planner was Londiwe “Londy” Mazwide who owns the company Andimahle Building Events.

Attending the event was Simphiwe Ngema, Khanya Mkangisa, Denise Zimba, K Naomi, Phindile Gwala and many more.

This was a clip shared online by some guests:

Buhle had opened up about how much she hates the stereotypes people project on her. Girls like her and Faith Nketsi getting married, opened the floor to a lot of criticism from people especially because of the lives they lead.

But Buhle hates that and once said on social media, “I keep quiet about so much. I hate how people project their stereotypes on me. I read things and I’m just like oh wow really! Really?! It irks me.”
