In recent weeks, detective Mahlasela, played by talented actor Kabelo Moalusi, came to the forefront in Mzansi Magic’s Gomora following the death of Mohato. The man has been entirely focused on fixing the corrupt police force in Alex while also making sure that justice is served.

In the last few episodes, Mahlasela has been getting closer and closer to solving Mbongeni’s murder case as he closes in on prime suspect Mam Sonto. Kabelo Moalusi studied Business Management in tertiary. He only did that because it’s what his parents wanted him to do it. His passion has always been acting. He used to take acting lessons in secret.
