Inside Lebo Sekgobela’s 40th birthday – Photos

MULTI-AWARD winning gospel star, Lebo Sekgobela, recently celebrated her 40th birthday in style.

The Thato Ya Hao singer has been posting photos from her surprise birthday party. She turned 40 on 19 September and the celebration was also held on the day.

Taking to social media, she posted a video of herself arriving at the surprise party and she’s seen shocked.

She said she thought she was going out for lunch, but they tricked her.

Lebo wrote: “I don’t even know where to start with today’s surprise. There I was minding my business and people telling me they are taking me out for lunch, kante there’s a whole party for me! I’m still lost for words!”

The singer also posted the party planner, the caterers and the people who baked her cake.

“My sincere gratitude goes to @nono_events for the absolutely fabulous deco. @bakedbysmi I can’t stop gushing over your cake. Thank you! @maribelocatering Thank you for feeding us! Forever grateful,” wrote Lebo.

Lastly, she also thanked people who wished her a happy birthday.

“Thank you so much to each and everyone who took time to wish me a happy birthday! I am still overwhelmed! I am truly humbled! Thank you a million times! I love you,” wrote the singer.
