‘I haven’t met the right guy’: LaConco says she’s ready to date again

Media personality LaConco, real name Nonkanyiso Conco, says she’s single and ready to get into a serious relationship again.

LACONCO SAYS SHE WANTS TO GET MARRIED SOME DAY
The Our Perfect Wedding (OPW) host told Isolezwe that she has not yet met “Mr Right” but hopes to meet someone soon.

“Because I am someone who works hard, it would be unfortunate for me to gain all this success in life and not marry anyone. Although I am not in a hurry to get married, I do believe that a woman should get married. Unfortunately, things did not go accordingly where I thought I’d end up,” LaConco said.

The former Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) reality TV star said that she has been on dates and had talking stages.

“As a woman, I give men a chance to court me, but I have not met someone I can build a home with,” she said.

DRAGGING JACOB ZUMA?
LaConco was previously in a relationship with former president Jacob Zuma – who was her fiance. The pair share a five-year-old son, Sakhumuzi Zuma. In 2020, reports emerged that the two had split in 2018.

In October this year, when Hollywood actress Lupita Nyong’o announced her breakup from Selema Masekela, the son of late jazz legend Hugh Masekela, LaConco said she was “triggered”.

“@lupitanyongo sharing her pain just triggered me how I have been (silent) about my ex and the pain he has caused us and still is. The two reasons I’ve kept (quiet) it’s because: 1. I know that giving God my pain, is giving him his power over my life. 2 I’ve damn protected his dignity,” she wrote.

Following her post, many claimed she was talking about Zuma. However, she did not deny or confirm the claims.
