HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ACTRESS RAMI CHUENE AS SHE TURNS 46

How To Ruin Christmas star Rami Chuene is celebrating her birthday today.

The 46-year-old actress said that this was the second time she celebrated her birthday under strict lockdown.

“I am so overwhelmed. One minute we’re celebrating life, the next, death strikes and we mourn. What a confusing time. It’s been difficult trying to focus only on the good because our hearts have been through so much turmoil. And yet, through faith and hope we are reminded that all things- good and bad- work together for our good.”

Rami said that today, she wants to encourage people as she also encourages herself to not get tired of being and doing good.

“There is so much we can still do, we have the power and the ability to do it. May we always remember what’s important in our lives- family, friends, our people. May we continue to be kind, loving and mindful. While taking care of others, may we remember to take care of ourselves: take a walk, go for a run, eat well, indulge once in a while.”

Rami said that people should take time out for themselves, forgive themselves because you are not your mistake.

“It has given you your best moments and carried you through your worst. Drink wine, have water, dance, pray, live fiercely and passionately. Even when it doesn’t make sense, choose to live anyway. Continue to be the light that shines ever so brightly. Even in the storm, trust yourself to be a blessing. Live and live well.”

Rami is thankful that she is still able to celebrate her birthday even with what has been happening in the country.

Rami has been adamant that she is a 29-year-old. When the #Over40 challenge was trending, he said, “I so want to participate in this #over40challenge but being 29 and all means I have to wait a good eleven years.”

The 46-year-old controversial actress and mother of three who is known for speaking her mind was obviously taking a jab at the #over40challenge and fans couldn’t help but play along with her.

Rami recently starred in the 3-part mini-series How To Ruin Christmas and made South Africa’s December holidays a lot more bearable. The series is filled with laughter and drama with its witty characters.

The series features a star-studded cast including 947’s Thando Thabethe, Clementine Mosimane as Dineo Sello, Yonda Thomas as Khaya Manqele, Sandile Mahlangu as Sbu Twala, Motlatsi Mafatshe as Themba Twala, Saint Seseli as Vusi Twala, Charmaine Mtinta as Valencia Twala, Rami Chuene as Aunt Grace, Trevor Gumbi as Siya Twala, Nandi Nyembe as Gogo Twala, Desmond Dube as Uncle Shadrack, Busisiwe Lurayi stars as Tumi Sello and Keketso Semoko as Aunt Moipone. It is packed. You don’t want to miss the second season which we hope is coming this December.
