Generations: The Legacy actor Vuyo Dabula is not Joining Uzalo
Over the weekend we shared the news of the possibility of Vuyo Dabula joining SABC 1’s popular television show Uzalo. The news came as a surprise to fans who are used to seeing his face on Generations: The Legacy, nonetheless, this brought smiles on the faces of Uzalo fans – the thought of one of Mzansi’s finest television talents at the SABC 1 production.
Sadly the joy was short-lived for fans as it’s just been confirmed that the actor will not be joining the telenovela. This was confirmed by trusted Entertainment Commentator Phil Mphela. However, he didn’t dismiss the possibility of Vuyo Dabula joining the soap-drama in the near future.
“I can confirm that Dabula has not been hired to join the soapie. Things might change in the future but right now the rumours are FALSE.” He posted on his Twitter account.
Another popular television star rumoured to have joined Uzalo was Dineo Langa. This was a surprise to some fans as they couldn’t see how she would fit into the show.
It turns out that was nothing but a rumour as the former ‘The Queen’ actress will not be joining Uzalo. The two stars are yet to comment on these reports.
Dineo, who has since left the Fergusons Production has been focused on enhancing her brand online with her husband Solo Langa. More recently she hosted the South African Music Awards which received mixed emotions. She hosted the show alongside comedian Donavan Goliath.
Vuyo Dabula is a South African actor, bodybuilder and model. He is popular for playing Kumkani Phakade aka Gadaffi on SABC 1’s popular drama Generations: The Legacy. He was born in the town of Mahikeng in the North West province. That’s where he matriculated at P.H Moeketsi Agricultural High in 1995. He then enrolled at AFDA in Cape Town.
