Florence Masebe is a South African Actress who started her career in the entertainment industry back in the mid-’90s, She was born in November 1972, Florence was known for her role as Thembi on Sabc1’s popular soapie Generations.

She is best known on sabc2’s Tshivenda soapie Muvhango, where she played the role of Humbulani from 2004-2009. Throughout the years she has starred in other local drama series including Task Force, Ikani, Sokhulu and partners, Soul City and local soapies including Scandal, 7 de Laan, Inkaba and Ring of Lie

He most recent role was in 2019 when she played the role of President Lufuno on Mzansi Magic’s Sunday night drama The Republic.

Like any other person, the Actress has had a near-death experience, A tragic experience that we all wish to forget one day, her’s was very traumatizing and tragic, not only to her but to her daughter who witnessed it as well, she considers herself very lucky to have survived. More than 21 years ago a 27-year-old Florence Masebe was shot at 41 times at her home and left to die.

She has scars but she survived the tragic incident. A true fighter she is, She survived 41 bullets.

What makes it worse is that her daughter who was a 4-year-old girl at the time, saw her in her own pool of blood, no child should ever see her mother in that condition.
