Former Imbewu actress Fundiswa Zwane launches her own fragrance
After making her last appearance as KaMadonsela in e.tv’s Imbewu on Friday 24 July, actress Fundi Zwane is venturing into the beauty industry with her own perfume range.
The 35-year-old Port Shepstone-born actress and producer is launching a fragrance called Camagu by Fundi Zwane. In a statement, Zwane said the idea to develop her own range – which caters to men and women – was inspired by “market research and innovative business synergy”.
Zwane said she is excited to launch a product that is “inclusive in what’s on offer for all women and men”.
“Camagu by Fundi Zwane came to life after we saw a gap in the market to create something unique and fresh. It’s an extension of creativity that allows me to share a deep love for scents,” she said.
“I am so excited for everyone to experience Camagu by Fundi Zwane,” she shared.
The perfume, which comes in two different scents: Camagu Femme and Camagu Oud, is available for presale at fundizwane.co.za.
Together with the SaltWater marketing group, Zwane is set to launch a cosmetics and beauty range that will include hand and body creams, African herbal body oil and hair food.
Speaking on the creation of her products, the actress said they come at a time where people needed something to put a smile on their faces.
“Women and men deserve to feel good about themselves. It’s been a testing time for us [as] a global community, and it has also been a collective experience of so many mixed emotions. Camagu by Fundi Zwane has been birthed in a time where despite the collective trauma, something beautiful is in bloom,” she said.
