Former Idols contestant Phindy Dube Gives Birth

Congratulations are in order for former Idols SA finalist Phindy Dube. The singer and her partner recently welcomed their first child together. Over a week ago, Phindy and her partner Mthokozisi announced that they were pregnant through a stunning photoshoot.

Not-so-long-ago Phindy revealed that she had given birth to their first child together, sharing a picture of her baby and her man.

Morning has become my favorite part of the day because of my favorite two people. Daddy was on duty this morning and I woke up to them pulling faces and dancing. My little family of 3.

The first video talks about how they found out that they were pregnant.

“I did not expect a single thing. We were in Spain for a mini baecation. Before I go back on tour, he goes back to doing his shows. We had two weeks to relax and rewind.” Said Phindy Dube. She then shared more details of the events that led to her finding out about her pregnancy.

“We get to Spain, I get my period and we’re thinking everything lit. I’m not going to get into the details of how the baby was made. The day after I got sick, I didn’t expect anything. I thought maybe it was the food. Then we got back to South Africa and then I lost my voice. I went to see a doctor.

After all the clear signs, Phindy and Mtho didn’t suspect pregnancy until a friend of their pointed it out. “One morning I drank apple cider vinegar with water because I was trying to lose weight. Then I fell sick and I threw up. And we didn’t suspect a thing. Ashley Butcher then told me that I was pregnant.
