Former Generations Stars Ntombi & Sibusiso To Star In New Soapie

Former Generations leading stars are set to set the screen alight, as they star in a new upcoming soapie.

The soapie titled, Family Secrets will premiere on the 6th of September 2020 on SABC 1 at 1900hrs

The cast includes familiar names from Generations like Sonia Mbele who starred as Ntombi, Menzi Ngubane who starred as Sibusiso, Sophie Ndaba better known as Queen and Katlego Danke who starred as Dineo.

While we’re still not sure what names they will be using in the new soapie and what their dynamics will be like, we can’t help but get excited to see familiar faces.

Also joining the soapie is renowned actress Michelle Botes, who starred as the villainous Cherel de Villiers Haines on Isidingo.

Thembi Seete who currently plays Gladys on Gomorrah will be also be part of the cast.

Former Generations stars have reunited for a new series, Family Secrets.

The show premieres Sunday, September 6th on SABC1 at 19h30

The four were part of the 16 actors who were fired on Generations before it rebooted, after they staged a strike.

They were fired after they demanded better salaries and benefits from the show.

At some point they seemed to have reached an agreement with the SABC 1 and Generations producers, however the actors claimed they were threatened with dismissal and ordered to go back to work.

The actors went on to be involved in other projects over the years and are still forces to be reckoned.
