Fellow South Africans! – Family meeting update

President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the nation tonight at 8pm.

The address comes 14 days after the last Presidential address when Mzansi was put under level 4 with more restriction which saw an alcohol ban and a a reduction on funeral attendance.

The President’s address will follow meetings of the National Coronavirus Command Council, the President’s Coordinating Council and Cabinet which are taking place during the course of the day.

The President’s address will be broadcast and streamed on a range of platforms that are accessible to South Africans and international audiences.

Currently the covid-19 cases in the country are sitting at 2179 daily infections.

Total deaths is sitting at 265 which brings the totals death to 64 138.

The number of recoveries as reported by the Health Department stands at 1 904 107 with a recovery rate of 87.4%

Over 4million vaccines have been administered since beginning of the roll-out.
