She inquired as to for what reason should chance her life to record a stream when she hadn’t got a salary in a quarter of a year.
“Am I the main craftsman who gets profoundly outraged when a legitimate organization/association requests a free exhibition? Like, njani? How am I going to hazard my life going out to record a stream with the expectation of complimentary when I haven’t had a pay for a quarter of a year?” she said.
Zinhle isn’t the main performer who has vented at corporates needing free gigs.

“It’s fascinating that individuals call you for undertakings to sing for nothing, particularly when there’s an event of trouble, however when there’s paying tasks, they don’t consider you! Skip me with that s**t! Ngikhathele,” he said.
Sovereign Kaybee shared a comparative notion in April when he posted a snap perusing: “Quit doing those live DJ sets on TV for nothing!”
It started a discussion with DJ Euphonik, who brought up that Kaybee had blasted into the business playing free shows in a TV DJ rivalry.
Am I the only artist who gets highly offended when a reputable company/organization asks for a free performance. Like, njani? How am I gonna risk my life going out to record a stream for free when I haven't had an income for 3 months.

Prince with respect ?? You're the same guy who took part for FREE in a 13 week tv competition for DJs. You are way too popular and influential to not help other people grow. Why must they not do it? What lessons can you teach besides a loose comment? Angilwi ?? teach us. https://t.co/UrW8C8E311

I’ve learnt that this “invest the same energy” narrative is flawed. Life is dealing us different cards & to assume everyone can reciprocate the same effort is extremely problematic. All we can offer is our best and that should be enough. There’s no understanding without empathy. https://t.co/9jGkWr44aO
