DJ Miss Ducasse’s funeral underway – WATCH

The funeral service of award-winning DJ Karabo Mokanyane is underway at Grace Bible Church in Soweto.

The DJ, who was best known as Miss Ducasse, died on 29 December from complications following abdominal surgery.

Speaking to Daily Sun, her brother Cambridge Mokanyane said they are still coming to terms with the death.

“Our hearts are still store and we are yet to come to terms with her passing as she had a lot ahead of her.

“Only time will heal us, but we are thankful and comforted by the support of her friends who have been there for us ever since she passed on,” he said.

Since the passing of Miss Ducasse, messages of condolences have been flooding in for the family and they thanked everyone for their overwhelming support and asked to be given space to mourn their loss as this is a difficult period in their lives.

Media personalities such as Carol Bouwer, Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa and Boity Thulo sent their condolences and described Miss Ducasse as a prayer warrior who was kind and loving.
