Connie Ferguson remembers her late Mom with a touching message

Seven years later since the passing of actress and businesswoman Connie Ferguson‘s mother, it’s still a painful thought for her. Taking to social media, the actress penned a touching post to share how she feels. Despite being sad about not celebrating her mother’s birthday with her, she seemed to be positive about the life that was.

The loss of a mother is something that does not get better, you learn to deal with it better. For Connie Ferguson, it seems that celebrating the life that is lost is a way of keeping a memory alive.

The actress shared on social media that she (and her family) will be having black velvet cake to commemorate her late mother, Margaret.

In her post, Connie said that her mother’s birthday still makes her feel emotional. But she will be celebrating her mom with delicious black velvet cake.

“Your birthdays always hit me like a ton of bricks! 7 years later I still want to call you first thing in the morning of your birthday!

“We celebrate you then, now and forever! Love you MOMS! We’ll be having black velvet cake in your honour today.”

It’s clear that Connie still misses her mother and isn’t shy about admitting that. Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that on her mother’s death anniversary in 2018, Connie posted a special picture of her and her mom.

She captioned it with beautiful words that may bring a tear to your eye.

Margaret passed away while Connie was a contestant on the sixth season of the hit dance competition, Strictly Come Dancing. Often, Connie dedicates a beautiful message to her mother on 25 July, the day that she lost her mother.
