Cassper Nyovest’s bestfriend Carpomore opens up about his struggle with depression

Solomon Carpo More opens up about his struggle with depression and how he attempted suicide 5 different times. Carpo was motivated to complete a 21-kilometer race for mental health awareness over the weekend and the event was personal to him.

This is something big and close to my heart. I’ve been through so much, losing my mom and dad, and I want to share my story with people. I cried a lot before the race because June is the month I lost my dad”.

Opening up about the different attempts, he applauded his friend, Cassper Nyovest for helping him during the trying times.

“I know how it feels to want to kill yourself, I tried it five times after my parents passed away. I tried hanging myself, cutting myself, I did all those things.

“I went to the hospital, I was bleeding badly and Cassper paid R103 000 cash. The doctor said no one could survive what I survived”.

Cassper also testified to all that his friends revealed.

“So proud of what Carpo is doing today. #MentalHealthAwareness . I know what that man comes from and he fought to even be here with us today. For him to tell his story and start to touch others in this way is inspiring.
