Calls for Kelly Khumalo to be cancelled

Tweeps are angered at the double standards and favoritism displayed towards songbird and reality TV star Kelly Khumalo. They are calling for the cancel culture to take its course on her as well.

Kelly Khumalo has seen the worst days of her life since the murder of her then-boyfriend and footballer Senzo Meyiwa. She has been scrutinized, dissected, turned upside down, and shaken on her boots while Mzansi at large demanded her to be behind bars. It has been a whirlwind of emotions and a roller-coaster while wanting justice to be served in this case. However, in a turn of events, five accused men have seen their days in court and have even been charged already.

Tweeps are up in arms while they are calling for the cancel culture on Kelly Khumalo. This reason for this is of course Kelly Khumalo being somehow implicated as Senzo Meyiw’s girlfriend and not only that but she was also resent when the murder occurred.

Senzo Meyiwa’s murder was in 2014 and Mzansi at large have been wanting Life With Kelly reality TV star Kelly Khumalo behind bars. It is by no doubt that people are still not convinced that Kelly Khumalo is innocent in any way in the murder of Senzo Meyiwa. However, South Africa is governed by courts of law and not of the public. Hence, Kelly Khumalo have not seen her day in court to date.

Tweeps are not jumping for joy that whilst Senzo Meyiwa’s murder trial is in and out of court, Kelly Khumalo is living her life like its golden. They are calling for a cancel culture on her on the basis of having being presented the day Meyiwa was murdered.

Tweeps are convinced that if Kelly Khumalo was a man, she would have been cancelled a long time ago. However, being a woman has offered her some of the advantages that have angered a number of people.

Following the trial yesterday that saw the five accused men in Senzo Meyiwa’s case being charged with murder. New information has come to the surface that Kelly Khumalo is very much anticipating her day in court.

According to Kelly Khumalo’s representative Magdalene Moonsany, speaking to eNCA reporter Slindile Masikane, Moonsamy has made it known that if the court calls for Kelly Khumalo to take the stand, she will be good and ready.

“That will depend on the prosecution, if the prosecution requires her as a witness in court, she is a witness in the matter and she is being compliant and cooperative in the matter, So if she is required to be present in court then she will be” said Magdalene Moonsamy.
