Brenda Mhlongo Joins Imbewu: The Seed
Last month news did the rounds that Imbewu’s Fundisa Zwane was fired from the e.tv drama. She was apparently shown door after her management asked for a raise. As it is in this competitive industry, there is always a replacement ready for anyone exiting.
Talented actress, Brenda Mhlongo is the one stepping in for Zwane to play the character of KaMadonsela. She will make her debut on Monday the 27th of July.
Mhlongo whohas been on major TV shows, is an exceptional actress. She known for her role on Generations The Legacy where she played Jack Mabaso’s wife Nandi. She also played on Mzansi Magic telenovela, The Queen as Zodwa, Shaka Khoza’s mother.

Mhlongo’s acting career started when she was 16 when she joined a theatre company in KwaMashu. Among her achievements include two international awards for her role as Rafiki on The Lion King. We definitely can’t wait to see how she portrays her new character.
