Boity hints at a much-anticipated second season of Own Your Throne

The multitalented rapper Boity Thulo has gone to her social media to hint at a second season of her reality show. Boity has her fingers dipped in many pies in the entertainment industry. The launch of the first season had her loyal fans excited as we got to see many sides to her private and personal life from her music career, family and her spiritual journey.

The second season was allegedly going to be filmed after the end of season one but then Covid-19 halted the plans for production. There had already been a storyline for the second season which was the deal that Boity had signed with Def Jam Africa .

The most controversial of the potential storylines that could have been covered would have been Boity’s fallout after a physical altercation with fellow media personality Bujy Bikwa.

The speculation of a second season of Own Your Throne reached high levels after Boity posted a picture on her Instagram feed with the number two sign and the hashtag ‘#OwnYourThrone’. This maybe cryptic but it seems like all signs are pointing to another season of the reality show.
The new season could focus on a lot of current events that have been happening in the rapper’s life. The break-up between her and Anton Jeftha would definitely have some screen time on the show since the couple’s relationship was very much publicized in the actual media and on social media.

In regards to her work we could be taken on a journey of Boity promoting her alcoholic beverage BT Signature. We could also see her navigating the bookings that she might be getting such as the Vic Carnival which according to Zalebs she not only headlined in 2021 but she has been hinting at a return to the carnival on social media.

We do hope that the reality show gets another season as getting an insight into the lives of one of the biggest media personalities in South Africa makes great television.
