Bob Mabena Advocated for Women on Radio – Lerato Kganyago

Lerato Kganyago has come out to reveal that the late Bob Mabena was an advocate for Women who worked on radio. Kganyago was among the many celebrities that came out and posted their tributes on social media after hearing the news of the passing away of the legendary radio personality.

Lerato who has been working on radio for quiet sometime revealed in a tweet that the late radio veteran supported her and so many other women on radio as she wrote

“He knew Radio is full of misogynists, and always encouged us to FIGHT! He believed and encouraged SO MANY of us! So much wisdom and knowledge, yet so grounded!

Lerato also posted a picture of her and Mabena together on Instagram and wrote a caption where she thanked him for how he impacted her life and career as she wrote

“Thank you for the wisdom, thank you for the knowledge, thank you for your humanity! Rest in eternal peace uncle BOB. I will never forget you!!! #RipLegend #BobMabena”

Bob Mabena passed away yesterday at the age of 51 after suffering from a short illness. His death was a shock to many as he was a legendary radio personality who was adored by many.
