The ANC in North West has called on its political principals to fire the governing party’s councillor after a video of him bonking his male partner started doing rounds on social media.

In a self-recorded video that the publication has seen this week, a man believed to be Tebogo Sepale can be seen exchanging low body blows inside a house while the pair is merrily whispering sweet nothings to each other.

In a separate video Sepale, who is also a pastor, recorded himself with his genitals yanked out and blowing kisses.

The s.e.x tape has ruffled the feathers of the branch executive committee (BEC), which released a statement calling for ANC leaders to dismiss Sepale from his job as a councillor of ward 25 in Matlosana municipality.

In the statement, which we have seen, the BEC said it has tolerated Sepale’s unbecoming, uncultured, anti-statesman, and anti-congress behavior and wants him out in the cold.

“In the interest of the organization’s integrity, we call on the ANC to recall, with immediate effect, the councilor from his duties in order to allow him the time to clear his name and save our organization as his employer,” reads the statement.

The BEC also said it had expected party leaders to act proactively and pink-slip the disgraced Sepale, but was disappointed that they kicked the can down the road.

“The leadership as a result, could be likened to our current police departments, being reactionary, always coming late to the scene after damage has occurred or when the public’s outcry is threatening insurrection.

“Given the image destruction perpetuated by the councillor in ward 25, we implore and request the leadership to swiftly and speedily act to save what is left of the image and integrity of our beloved movement.”

BEC chairperson Katlego Kortjas said the committee will hold a meeting to discuss Sepale’s fate. “We have heard of the video but not seen it. We don’t know whether it is him or not, but we will confirm after the meeting,” he said.

When contacted for comment, Sepale said given the gravity of this matter, he would not comment until he has consulted with his lawyers.

“I’m still busy with my legal team, I am unable to answer now. This thing is very serious,” he told the publication.
