Baby Mamma and 2 Men Arrested for Murder

We are living in a crazy world… There was chaos when a baby mama and two men were arrested on Saturday, 24 December, for the murder of Kiwiet Mokoena and pregnant Nokuphila Dladla. The couple, originally from Free State, went missing from their place in Vanderbijlpark, Vaal, on 14 December.

Nokuphila had allegedly called Kiwiet to come home with a packet of chips, and that was the last time friends and family heard from them. Kiwiet’s cousin, Victor Dlamini (44), said he didn’t report to work on 15 December, raising alarm.

“The family went to look for him at home, and found the door open and blood stains on his hat. They suspected the baby mama.”

According to Victor, she had been threatening Nokuphila since finding out that Kiwiet had moved on. “When she learnt they were expecting a baby, her threats increased as she told Nokuphila they were going to lose their man and no one would have him.” Kiwiet’s brother, Mohapi (39), told Daily Sun that cops called to tell them they had arrested three people.

“They found Kiwiet’s car, sold to a man in Heidelberg. This led to the arrest of two foreign nationals who pointed to the baby mama as the mastermind. “She paid them to kidnap the couple and find a gun. Cops told us the men said the baby mama paid R3 000, and is the one who shot the couple,” he said.

Police said that they have arrested three suspects including an ex-girlfriend for the alleged murder of a 35-year-old man and his 29-year-old pregnant partner, Kiwiet Mokoenaand Nokuphila Dladla.

Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo said the suspects, aged between 30 and 32 are facing three counts of murder, kidnapping and house robbery among other possible additional charges. “A thorough search and investigation led to the arrest of three suspects in Heidelberg and the discovery of the bodies in an open field in Heidelberg on Friday, 23 December,” Masondo said in a statement. The suspects are expected to appear before Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 28 December.
